// the math under the marketing

“Earn up to 50%.” Up to what, exactly?

Affiliate programs sell themselves with their best number. We read the terms, run the math, and show what's likely to land in your account.

earnings = clicks × conversion rate × order value × commission rate × (1 − reversal rate)

Same program, two pitches

A made-up program, to show how far apart the headline and the reality can sit.

Example only. Invented numbers for a hypothetical program, not a real one.

Three numbers that matter more than the rate

  • 01

    Earnings per click

    What the program pays, on average, for every click you send. It folds conversion, order size and rate into one number you can compare.

  • 02

    Reversal rate

    How much commission gets taken back after refunds and cancellations. A high rate on a product people return is worth a lot less than it looks.

  • 03

    Cookie window

    How long after a click you still get credit. A 24-hour cookie on something people think about for a week pays for very little.

47 programs checked. None tested yet.

Every program on the list was opened on its own page and read, and 12 more were checked and turned down, usually because an individual can't join or there's no real program behind the name. Checked isn't the same as tested: a verdict still waits for real traffic and real payouts.
